Members of the unit are involving as coordinators or partners of consortia ESE (EGEA, SAPALDIA and ECRHS) and IDEAR (Integrated Datasets across Europe for Ageing Research) and European programs (ESCAPE, MEDALL). Other international collaborations allow them to develop research programs based on other cohorts such as ECRHS, SAPALDIA, SEPAGES NHS I and II, HPFS. The unit is a member of the University Hospital Department (DHU) THORINO "Thorax Innovation" created in 2012 and is involved in the project "MACVIA-LR Initiative for Europe for active aging and healthy to prevent frailty by using interdisciplinary approaches.
